Conservative Councillors don't just get out and about in the community at election time - they pride themselves on being part of their local community day-in day-out.
Councillors Clark, Jellyman & Kelsall, ward Councillors for Hanford, Trentham, Newstead and Wedgwood have been out at a number of events across their ward over the last few weeks.
A recent 'week of action' to tackle anti social behaviour took place across the ward recently, with representatives of Stoke-on-Trent City Council & Policemeeting local residents to discuss their concerns, as well as visiting ASB hotspots across the area.
Cllr Kelsall said:
"This week of action has been a great opportunity for local residents to raise their concerns with teams from the City Council and Police - highlighting issues and pushing for action. I was pleased to be able to join officers in meeting residents and to have the opportunity to discuss the issues raised by residents with myself, Cllr Jellyman and Cllr Clark and to push for further work to combat anti social behaviour in hot spots across the ward."

Cllr Clark recently visited the floating market in Trentham, along with local Member of Parliament Jack Brereton. Members of Trentham South Residents Assocation also attended the event and had a stall to raise the profile of their work.
Cllr Clark said:
"It was a great day, if not a little wet! The floating market is a brilliant event - the tombola was a particular highlight with some fantastic prizes! All of the money raised is going towards the defibrillator fund - a fantastic project for the local community. I'd highly recommend residents visit the floating market next time they have the chance!"

Ward walks are a key part of the work of local Councillors, providing an opportunity to see ongoing work and to identify and report new issues as they arise.
Cllrs Jellyman and Clark recently completed a ward walk around Newstead and were joined by Chris Hall during the walk.
Cllr Jellyman said:
"I'd like to thank residents who contacted us to raise issues and to Chris Hall who joined us on our ward walk. We regularly complete ward walks across the ward to identify new issues and to check-up on previously reported casework. If residents see us out and about - please do come and say hello."
