Ward Councillors Dave Evans & Carl Edwards recently completed a ward-walk around Ball Green to check-up on pot holes which they had raised for repair.
During the ward walk, they found that whilst repairs had taken place, the quality of the work completed was of an unacceptable standard.
Cllr Dave Evans said:
I’ve been out this afternoon around the village following complaints about the quality of the repairs done to the roads in the village. I reported a number of issues a couple of weeks back, mainly road surface cracking up and potholes.
I’m glad that the council had finally been out to repair them, that being said the quality of the repair in many cases is very poor.
I’ve contacted the council to highlight this, and ask that work is done asap to put in a proper repair to our highways, that will last and mean our roads aren’t left in this state!"
