Stoke roads will receive a huge investment if the Conservative party win the 2015 Stoke City Council elections.
City infrastructure is a high priority for the Conservatives after years of complacency from Labour.
The City Council currently spend approximately £1m on general road maintenance across the city.
This means that, roughly speaking, each road in the city will get resurfaced once every 250 years!
According to research, the council needs closer to £6m per year to maintain the current network properly.
A Conservative council will meet that need.
Better quality roads will cost less to maintain in the future as well as improving the city’s image and confidence in the council.
Stoke Conservatives have already pledged free city car parking after 3pm and all day Sundays to help hardworking people across Stoke-on-Trent, should they win in 2015.
